Licensed individual needed for the position of Clinical and Program Operations Supervisor for the Laurels Recovery Center, a 16-bed, standalone, residential crisis stabilization and medical detoxification program, located in Lebanon, Virginia. This position directs the counseling and treatment services of individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders and those with co-occurring disorders who are admitted either voluntarily or under a Temporary Detention Order to recover from crisis episodes and/or withdrawal management services. Responsibilities include overseeing a large and dynamic professional staff comprised of both medical professionals, licensed clinical professionals, and support staff who are continually assessing the safety of admitted individuals while implementing a comprehensive behavioral health education curriculum that includes individual and group counseling. This position requires dedication to a recovery model for persons at risk of needing an increased level of psychiatric hospitalization. This position will require flexible work hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays. Tentative schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am. – 4:30 p.m., but is subject to change based on program needs.
Incumbent must possess a Master’s degree in a human services field AND be licensed in Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, MD, LNP, etc). Five years of clinical supervisory experience required; supervisory experience working for a Virginia CSB/BHA or Virginia DBHDS (inpatient facility) preferred. Excellent communication skills required. Excellent supervision skills necessary. Candidate must pass all CMCS background screenings.
