Social Worker-ICMHR
The incumbent serves in the Intensive Community Mental Health Recovery (ICMHR) program located at the Cheyenne VA Health Care System. Serves Veterans who experience severe and persistent mental illness, including Schizophrenia and Major Affective disorders, who have frequent or long-term hospitalizations. The focus of the program is on psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery, community integration, clinical case management and coordination of services, and advocacy to support veteran autonomy. Duties include but are not limited to: Independently assesses the psychosocial functioning and needs of Veterans, identifying their strengths, weaknesses, coping skills, and psychosocial acuity.
