Job Summary - CORRECTIONAL HEALTH Performs phlebotomy procedures for the collection of blood samples. Demonstrates competency via direct observation and assessment for the following phlebotomy procedures: venipuncture, blood culture collection for bottles or isolator tubes, age specific skills. Accurately identifies patient and collects correct specimens. Achieves productivity standards. Maintains specimen integrity by collection and transporting specimens in a timely manner. Accurately performs assignments in registration and accessioning.
