Social Worker-Program Coordinator (Veterans Justice Outreach)
The incumbent functions as the Coordinator for the Veterans Justice Outreach (VJO) program at the Sheridan VA Health Care System (SVAHCS). The incumbent has primary responsibility for providing and coordinating services for eligible Veterans who are involved in the criminal justice system and responsibility for the administrative and operational needs of the VJO Program. The incumbent provides clinical intervention and case management to assigned Veterans in the program. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
