Job Summary - CORRECTIONAL HEALTHThe Clinical Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) provides clinical nutrition services to patients within his/her individual scope of practice and demonstrated competence, under the supervision of the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in accordance with the policies and procedures for Clinical Nutrition Services (CNS) outlined by Harris Health System's Correctional Health division. The DTR utilizes the Nutrition Care Process and Terminology (NCPT) to assist with assessing nutrition status and developing and implementing nutrition care plans for patients at nutrition risk.
